This summer, I’m headed back to France with two custom gowns, and an incredibly full heart as Abby Grace Photography and I launch The Signature Atelier; an intimate destination workshop for photographers just outside of Paris, France. We’re hosting 10 lovely photographers for a week of education, being inspired by Paris, delicious meals taken together, and a styled shoot.

One of the things nearest to my heart when it comes to how France has inspired me, are the meals. The way a meal is enjoyed around a table, lounging for hours over wine and conversation, with every detail intentional and lovely. This is what the feeling we wanted to create for the styled shoot. The idea of a French wedding dinner, after an intimate wedding at Le Mairie, where the bride and groom sit at an outdoor table with their temoins, (witnesses: in France, typically you will only have a maid of honor and best man stand with at your wedding, as your witnesses).

We have an incredible team of vendors pitching in with their talents for the styled shoot, and the moodboard we pulled together for inspo has me just itching to finish working with the silk and lace to put the gown together!
