When I sat down to design this collection, the original intent was to create portfolio work, along with website content. I wasn’t sure whether I would ever “launch” it as a collection and release the designs to be created for brides. But when I started sketching out the concepts for the Classic Collection, this was the gown I started with. An open lace back, an elegant wrap front, and a gently flowing bias skirt. The combination of these details was the first thing I sketched when I started illustrating, and the first thing I knew I needed to include in a collection that was meant to showcase my classic style and my design aesthetic.

This is our Elizabeth gown, and we think she’s just as elegant as can be. Named after the women who have inspired me to design, to sew, and to know that a classic look will never go out of style, she’s the next piece of the Classic Collection that I get to introduce you to, with a collection of images straight from Paris by Abby Grace Photography.

The Classic Collection, coming soon to the shop. For pre-orders, inquire here.

Hi, I'm Katherine.
Your new BFF + Closet Coach.

I'm the one who sends you links for dresses you'll look real cute in, & tells you gently that the other one is going to sit unworn in your closet if you buy it. With a BFA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and a passion for understanding clothing & design, I designed custom bridal gowns before opening a styling studio to help small business owners prep for shoots & fall in love with their closet.
